I am a Christchurch-based freelance writer who writes to travel and travels to write!
Travelling has always been part of my family’s lifestyle, but since forsaking secondary teaching for adventures with words almost 20 years ago, my travel experiences have ranged range from “dollar a day economy to “pinch your self luxury” and everything in between!
As well as writing a variety of travel, history and lifestyle material for numerous newspapers, magazines, publishers and travel companies, I have also tutored travel and tourism students and compiled travel training resources for more than a decade.
In addition to freelance articles, I currently write a twice yearly wedding and honeymoon magazine and regular travel material for Metropol, Christchurch’s award winning lifestyle publication.
